Luxury Riads
From ~2,500–6,000 MAD / night (~$250–$600)
Riad Kniza
Northern medina, near Bab Doukkala
A former 18th-century nobleman's house, now eleven suites arranged around a double courtyard. Antique zellige, hand-carved cedar ceilings and a small plunge pool. Staff speak English and French fluently — breakfast on the roof terrace arrives with proper Moroccan pancakes and argan-honey.
El Fenn
Western medina, 5 min from Jemaa el-Fna
Co-owned by Vanessa Branson, El Fenn has 28 rooms, two pools (one rooftop), a hammam and a serious contemporary art collection. The rooftop bar is one of the better sunset spots inside the walls. Expect to pay at the higher end of the luxury range in peak season.
