Ride to your riad’s nearest gate in a private car, porter arranged. Pay the driver in cash (dirhams or euros) or prepay by card. Every booking is fulfilled by Serenity Morocco Tours, an ONMT-licensed operator.
The drive & arrival tips
The drive is about 15 minutes to the medina ring road, then a few minutes more to the gate that serves your riad — Bab Doukkala, Bab Laksour, Riad Zitoun or another, depending on where you are staying. Cars cannot enter the pedestrian lanes, so this is as close as any vehicle gets.
Your driver meets you in the Menara arrivals hall and, on arrival at the medina, hands you to a porter (a small tip is customary) who walks you and your bags the last few minutes to the riad door. Regular airport taxis rarely arrange this — they drop at a gate and leave.
A haggled grand taxi to "the medina" often costs 200 MAD or more and still ends at a random gate; our fixed medina transfer targets the right gate, includes the porter hand-off, and does not climb after dark. For a stress-free first night in the old city, it is money well spent.

Can the car reach my riad door inside the medina?
No vehicle can — the medina lanes are pedestrian-only. Your driver reaches the nearest gate to your riad and a porter walks you the final few minutes with your luggage. Give us your riad name and we use the closest possible drop-off.
Is a porter included?
We arrange the porter hand-off at the gate so you are not left to find one; a small tip for the porter (typically 20–30 MAD) is customary and paid directly to them. The transfer price itself is fixed from 170 MAD.
How much is a transfer from Marrakech airport to the Marrakech medina riads?
Private transfers start from 170 MAD (about €16) for a sedan carrying up to three passengers with luggage. Larger groups travel by minivan or minibus at the rates in the table above, and the price is agreed before you fly.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real time, so your driver adjusts the pick-up automatically — there is never an extra charge for a delay. You also get 60 minutes of free waiting from touchdown while you clear passport control and collect bags at Marrakech airport.
Is there a surcharge for late-night or early-morning arrivals?
No. Unlike metered street taxis, our fixed price is identical around the clock — there is no night surcharge and no premium on weekends or public holidays.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up, and you can change flight details or passenger numbers any time before that at no cost.
