Le Salama

Le Salama is Marrakech's premier Moroccan fine dining destination, a spectacular multi-level palace restaurant located directly on the iconic Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The venue encompasses three distinct experiences: a ground-floor piano bar, an ornate first-floor dining room, and the legendary rooftop lounge with its unmatched views over the square's nightly carnival.

The interiors are nothing short of breathtaking. Every surface gleams with handcrafted zellige mosaic, carved cedar, and gilded plasterwork. Crystal chandeliers hang from painted ceilings, and the furniture is upholstered in the finest Moroccan fabrics. Dining at Le Salama feels like attending a feast at a royal palace.

The kitchen, led by a team of master chefs schooled in the traditions of Moroccan court cuisine, produces dishes of extraordinary refinement. The Royal Couscous, served on Fridays, is an elaborate ceremony of fluffy semolina, seven vegetables, and tender meats. The pastilla, encased in paper-thin warqa pastry, is among the best in the country. The evening experience, with live Andalusian music and the sounds of Jemaa el-Fnaa drifting up from below, is magical.
