Taourirt Kasbah Terrace

The kasbah itself (featured on the 50 MAD banknote) is beautifully proportioned: four corner towers, carved plaster decoration, and palm-wood ceilings. Ait Benhaddou Hilltop Granary
Summit View10 MADThe summit of the Ait Benhaddou ksar — the ancient granary (agadir) at the very top of the fortified village. The climb through the narrow lanes of the ksar is an experience in itself — mud-brick walls, carved doorways, and the occasional artisan workshop. From the summit, the 360-degree view encompasses the river valley, the surrounding hammada, the distant Atlas peaks, and the full extent of the ksar's defences below your feet. The view north toward the mountains is the most dramatic. The granary ruins are atmospheric — crumbling walls against open sky. The climb takes 15–20 minutes from the river crossing. The summit is often windy.
Solar Power Plant Viewpoint
