The northern end of the beach, near the marina, is the busiest hub for motorised activities. Jet ski rental, parasailing, banana boats, and short speedboat trips are available from beach vendors seasonally — prices are negotiable and indicative rates start around 200–400 MAD for a 20–30 minute jet ski session. Collect two or three quotes before agreeing.
For surfing and body-boarding, the southern stretch offers more consistent, workable waves. Several surf schools operate half-day group lessons from around 250–350 MAD per person (indicative, equipment included). These are aimed at beginners; intermediate surfers looking for a proper session tend to head to Taghazout, 20 km north, where the point breaks are world-class.
The beachfront promenade — mainly along Boulevard du 20 Août — is flat, wide, and palm-shaded, and comes alive from late afternoon through the evening. Juice bars, fish restaurants, and café terraces face the sand. This is the best stretch of pavement in Agadir for an unhurried evening walk; you can cover the full resort-hotel section in about 40 minutes on foot without breaking a sweat.
