The best place to buy authentic Fes blue and white pottery is at the factory showrooms in the Ain Nokbi quarter, about 3 km west of the Fes medina. You watch the entire production process — wedging, throwing, drying, painting, glazing, firing — and buy directly from the kiln. Prices are 30–50% lower than medina souk shops because there is no middleman. The medina souk on Talaa Kbira also has good selection, but expect to haggle more.
