Marrakech Menara has a single terminal. The arrivals hall empties onto a covered forecourt where taxi and bus options are within a short walk of each other. Bus 19 stops are directly outside the terminal exit, well signposted. The official taxi rank is to the right.
The friction point is the stretch between the terminal doors and the official rank. Men offering "taxi, taxi" as you exit are not official drivers — they are touts working on commission. A polite "no thank you" and a direct walk to the rank solves this. Official petit taxis are beige and have a meter; turn it on before you move. If the driver says the meter is "broken" and quotes a flat fare well above 100 MAD in daylight hours, it is worth either negotiating firmly or finding another cab.
If your riad is deep in the medina, ask the driver to take you to the nearest landmark — Djemaa el-Fna, Bab Doukkala or Bab el-Khemis depending on your neighbourhood. Most riads send detailed walking directions from those gates, and some will meet you there with a trolley.
