Days 1–4
Marrakech
The Pink City is the usual entry point — flights are plentiful, the Jemaa el-Fna square pulls you in the moment the sun goes down, and the medina labyrinth rewards the curious. Four days lets you do the Majorelle Garden and the Bahia Palace without rushing, with a day trip into the High Atlas or to Aït Benhaddou for contrast.
- Jemaa el-Fna square (evening is best)
- Koutoubia Mosque and its gardens
- Bahia Palace and Saadian Tombs
- Majorelle Garden and Yves Saint Laurent Museum
- Day trip: Aït Benhaddou or Ourika Valley
Where to stay: A riad inside the medina walls is worth the price premium here — proximity to the souks changes the experience.
